Foreseeable Future Foundation’s mission is to enrich the lives of visually impaired and blind individuals through sports and recreation. By fostering participation in athletic activities, the foundation aims to build confidence, promote inclusivity, and bridge the gap between sighted and non-sighted communities.
We envision a day where people with Down syndrome are fully included in their communities: Working, playing, studying and living together with their peers.
We hope that individuals with Down syndrome will be seen as ”More Alike Than Different” and strive to instill this belief in our local communities through our outreach and programs. This goal is to benefit the community as a whole, not just the individual.
The FOUNDATION provides people with Down syndrome and families opportunities to enhance their lives through strategic partnerships, unique programs that create ‘inclusion’, family support and meaningful community involvement.
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a one-of-a-kind international health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment at no charge – regardless of financial need.
